It features a double ring frame and post crafted from long-lasting Western Red Cedar. The post is hollow so the 12 inch electric cord and an outdoor extension cord can be placed out of sight. Comes with four hold-down stakes to secure feet to the ground. Guaranteed to provide your birds with water down to -10 degrees F or -23 C. The insulated 60-watt heating element is thermostatically-controlled, enclosed and sealed inside the pan, and activated when water temperature goes below 35 degrees. The removable bird bath pan is 14 inches diameter, 1.5 inches deep and holds 1/2 gallon of water that stays thawed, but does not get warm.
