Ultimate Cedar Bluebird House
The Ultimate Bluebird House has been specifically designed to accommodate the needs of Bluebirds and their little ones. It is crafted of durable, western red cedar and has a overhanging roof that provides more protection from the elements. It has 2 hinged doors — one on the left for cleaning and one on the right for observation. It has a plexiglas partition that keeps baby birds from falling out and a brass predator guard on the 1.5 inch entrance hole prevents larger birds and squirrels from intruding. A screened Bluebird Nest Lift on the bottom floor discourages blowfly larvae from attacking the birds and when the fledglings are ready to leave the nest, carved out grooves inside help them get their footing.
The outside dimension from the bottom of the house to the bottom of the entrance hole is 7 3/4 inches; however, the floor to the entrance hole from the inside of the house is 5 3/4 inches.
