Ladybug Redwood Box House 10 inch
They may not be as cute as squirrels and they don't sing like birds, but the average ladybug eats up to 1,000 aphids every day, a feeding habit that could mean the difference between life and death for your flower bed. With the Ladybug habitation box, now you can invite thousands of these colorful insects to live in your backyard and practice their own brand of natural pest control. Simply mount this handsome and solidly constructed redwood box slightly off the ground and it's ready for use. It doesn't take much to furnish this house, either. Remove the lid by taking out the screws and fill the interior mulch tray with decomposed or partially decomposed leaves to serve as a hatchery and safe haven for your ladybug larvae. If you're using a ladybug lure (not included), it can be tacked to the inside of the lid. This habitation box stands just over 10 inches tall and has a predrilled hole for mounting. The front of the box features a charming ladybug painting.
